Presented in collaboration with the Université de Moncton Music Department, in the heart of Canada’s Maritime Provinces, the Barachois Summer Music Vocal Arts Academy offers young singers and pianists the unique opportunity to explore recital repertoire. Emphasizing Canadian music, under-represented composers and vocal chamber works, the program is a perfect way for artists to grow while perfecting a predetermined program, all the while gaining valuable performing experience in front of enthusiastic audiences. The Academy offers two programs, both leading to concerts in the exceptional Barachois Historic Church, as well as in other locations throughout the Maritime Provinces.
